Please bring in a framed family photo for our classroom family tree. The month of September we will be doing an "All about me" theme. 

Word of the Week ~ Positive Reinforcement

All kids (and adults) benefit from being told “Great Job”! 

This year we are implementing a fun way to expand our positive reinforcement vocabulary. As adults we often get stuck using the standard "good job" but that doesn't really tell the child what we are happy about nor does it expend their vocabulary. We will pick a word at the beginning of the week, and review the different ways of using it in a phrase.

Back To School Ice Cream Social

Fall Enrollment

I can't believe we will be beginning another school year in just a few short weeks. Each fall we ask that every family update their contract and emergency contact information for your child's file. I have added links to the enrollment packet forms on the left side of the blog. Please print them out and return by next Friday. 

This year we also ask that you bring a copy of your child's current  immunization record and framed family photo (3x5 or 5x7).

For the first time since Sep 1, 2008 there will be a 3% increase in tuition rates. For most families this averages out to about $10 / mo. 

We will be using the next few weeks to welcome new friends and get everyone settled. It will also be a time for getting used to some new curriculum and scheduling changes. We will be sharing more about this in upcoming weeks. 

As part of our planning process we would like to ask all currently enrolled families to please fill out a brief survey.

Welcome Logan and Kevin

We have two new friends this week! 

Logan, (Lilly's brother) will be here for drop-in care on Mondays in Aug.

Kevin, (Camelia's brother) is 2 and will be here on Tues and Th mornings with the Red Birds.
